Sorry, I missed a few days. You know, hard to believe as it is, there are still a few people who don't feel the need to be on one of these damn things every second.

Todays 600 word or less epic is once again brought to us by the venerable Patricia Stewart, entitled "Mazzaroth".
It is the tale of future colonization, and alien disease. Be warned though, she is a physicist, and you just may learn something of the formation and rough chemical composition of Population II stars.

On to other matters.

This weekend, I was fortunate enough to attend a Sarah Palin rally. As I noted in an earlier posting, I waited approximately 90 minutes in 30 degree weather for tickets, and then about three hours in similar weather waiting to get in to see her. It was worth every minute of that Texan killing cold to see what not only will be our next vice president, but our first female president.

The crowd of an estimated 17,000 people were on their feet, and cheering to shake the rafters when she appeared on the elevated walk to the podium.
She wore an above the knees grey skirt, a red sweater, and knee high brown leather boots. Was it wrong of me to have paid such close attention to what she was wearing? Is it wrong of me to imaging her in that outfit sans the glasses, with her hair down swishing a riding crop menacingly in the air. (sigh)

I won't tax (ha) you with the details of her speech, but she certainly raised the roof with her comments of Obama bin Ladin's socialist intent.

Suffice it to say, a good time was had by all.
